The TS 350 is designed to satisfy the need for a low
cost, medium volume batch oriented check scanner. The TS 350 is a
compact, high speed two-sided branch scanner with an 80 item autofeeder
and two output pockets for selectable sorting.
The TS 350 can handle a broad range of checks, giros,
and other small financial documents. Needing just 7 x 12 inches of
space, the TS 350's 'horseshoe' transport fits easily at the back
counter of the bank branch.
For batch scanning:
Used as a batch scanner, the TS 350 meets the needs of
large or small financial institutions around the world. These
organizations are realizing savings and improved customer service by
capturing check images and MICR data at the branch.
High Volume – “Batch” Autofeeder:
The autofeeder has capacity for up to 80 items and
infra-red sensors to provide optimal feeding of all types of items. The
jam-proof, batch autofeeder maintains the optimal pressure for trouble
free feeding of the items into the transport.
High Speed Scanning and MICR reading:
The TS 350 includes two-sided, duplex check scanning
utilizing dual cameras as a standard feature. The simple straight
through transport can move checks at up to 80 items per minute providing
sub-second scan rates while automatically reading E13B or CMC7 MICR
codelines.
Endorser option:
An optional, programmable ink-jet endorser prints
customized endorsement information, dates, and sequential numbers. An
upstream endorsement option is also available.
Two output pockets:
The second pocket allows selectable sorting or MICR
rejects based upon application requirements.

The flexible alternative:
The SCSI-2 interface allows the scanner to run at full
speeds due to its high data transfer rates. Other advantages include:
low cost, off-the-shelf interface boards; direct connection to a PC
workstation; immediate image quality checking on the controlling
monitor; flexibility for network or non-network environments. You can
even connect more than one scanner to a single PC!
Highest quality images:
Images can be output in standard Group IV-TIFF, JPEG, or
bitmap formats. The anti-skew transport combined with 200 dpi resolution
and effective thresholding improves OCR/ICR recognition and readability.
If required, up to 256 shades of gray can be used to further lift
recognition rates and legibility.
Reliable and durable:
The TS 350 transport is designed to scan millions of
items. On board diagnostics, power-on self testing, and an easy to
service modular design ensures reliable, problem-free operation. The
straight through transport passes the two imaging cameras only once,
leading to improved reliability.
