Countertop scanning:
The TellerSan 400ES has been designed for branch
scanning, ARC and lockbox, microfilm replacement and preparation for
electronic check clearance. TS-400ES offers a unique combination of fast
scanning, reliability, small footprint and low cost. Needing just 8 x 12
inches of space, the TS-400ES transport fits easily into any countertop
or teller window area. Its 100 item jam-proof feeder paired with two 100
item output pockets increase efficiency. Its PC interface allows for
maximum flexibility, simple operator controls, easy and quick viewing of
the images and sort patterns to be run at high speed.
High speed scanning and MICR reading:
You will appreciate the performance and attractive
design of the TS-400ES which includes two-sided, duplex check scanning
as a standard feature. Using industry standard PC's the transport
can scan up to 90 items per minute, and the "U-shaped", straight through
paper path minimizes jams and space requirements. E13B and CMC-7 MICR
fonts are read magnetically and to further maximize MICR read rates on
E13B fonts, our API supplements the magnetic read with a verification.
This Best Read technique, first used on high speed check sorters,
provides the best accuracy read rate available today on these types of
scanners.
Enhanced Output Pockets:
Two 100 item pockets have been enhanced to increase
capacity and maximize sorting and item sequence capabilities. Pocket
sorting is under program control to allow sorting capability to meet a
wide range of application requirements.
Jam-resistant Autofeeder:
A 100 item automatic feeder, coupled with built-in
infra-red double feed detection allows for shared use or unattended back
office operation.
Highest quality images:
The TS-400ES features an anti-skew transport which
utilizes two imaging cameras to capture both sides of the items in one
pass at up to 200 dpi resolution and 256 shades of gray. Images are then
processed by software within the controller. This technique, which
leverages the power of the PC, allows for improved algorithms that
provide for maximum flexibility, higher quality images and lower costs.
The output is captured in standard Group IV-TIFF, JPEG, or bitmap
formats.
Endorser option:
An optional software programmable ink-jet endorser
prints customized endorsement information, logos, dates, and sequential
numbers onto the items as they pass through the transport.

Common API:
The TS-400ES was designed to make integration and
software support easy. All our products utilize a common API, which
means that you can mix and match different TS units within the same
application – even within the same branch – without reprogramming. You
can add new scanners into the branch as and when they come available
without reprogramming. It means faster implementation and only one
application to support.
